The non-profit organisations are based across North America, including Nevada, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Northeast Ohio, the DC Metropolitan area and Western Massachusetts.

The grant decisions, such as choosing which organisations will receive the donations, are finalised by the Community Grant Council.

This board is made up of volunteer MGM employees, each of whom will represent their region and shortlist different local charities.

MGM Resorts International also absorbs all administrative costs associated with distributing the grants, ensuring that the entire donation amount is reserved for the organisations.

Recently, BetMGM launched in the UK, debuting its online casino and sports betting services in the country.
